Together with IMCC by Club Car, Banyan Village Resort and Golf has introduced the first fire intervention ATV in Thailand. Mounted with a 400cc horse power engine, 4-wheel drive, the vehicle is fully equipped with state of the art firefighting equipment. By having the “Interceptor” on site this will help provide a quicker response to firefighting mobility within Banyan Resort and Banyan Village. Ton Beekman, Managing Director of Banyan Village, Resort and Golf and Mark Smits, General Manager of Banyan Village both claim that fire and safety measures is a high priority for the Resort and Village management.
Richard Mehr, General Manager of Banyan Resort and Golf commented “Prevention is better than healing! we really needed something small, mobile, practical, equipped and faster than any golf cart so we came up with this revolutionary firefighting ATV idea.
