Micro Piezo? Technology - The proprietary Micro Piezo? technology harnesses piezoelectric pulses to propel ink droplets precisely onto a page. This has enables photo-quality Epson prints to be produced at laser-like print speed and supreme quality. Epson has also developed a Variable Size Dot technology (VSDT) that enables the print head to deliver an optimum resolution of 5760 X 1440 dpi.

Ultra Ink — This proprietary pigment-based ink technology was developed to produce high quality durable prints and excellent photos that are fade resistant and able to withstand environmental weathering, such as light and water.
