Thailand Management Association incorporates with the leading institutions in information and communications technology (ICT) to hold “Thailand ICT Management Forum” and to present “Thailand ICT Excellence Awards 2009”
Thailand Management Association (TMA), in cooperation with the National Electronics and Computer Technology Center (NECTEC), Software Park Thailand, and the College of Innovation at Thammasat University (CITU), launched “Thailand ICT Excellence Awards 2009”, in search of organizations and executives who have done an outstanding performance for Information and Communication Technology in Thailand at the Crystal Hall, Plaza Athenee Bangkok Hotel.
Mr. Preecha Chaochotechuang, Chairman of Thailand Management Association (TMA) siad, “This is the second time of the Thailand ICT Excellence Awards. The main purpose is to give recognition to the organizations that are excellent in ICT management, and to raise management standards of information and communication technology for Thailand’s organization to meet international level. This year, the committee separates activities into two; Thailand ICT Management Forum and the Thailand ICT Excellence Awards 2009 Ceremony”
Thailand ICT Management Forum is a specail seminar, consists of various of well-selected topics for discussions and debates, with the presence of many ICT and software experts in all sessions. For instance, Mr. Thana Thienachariya, Chief Commercial Officer of Total Access Communication Public Company Limited (DTAC), Ms. Pratana Mongkolkul, Group Chief Financial Officer, Minor International PCL, Mr. Prasan Chuaphanich, Executive Chairman of PricewaterhouseCoopers (Thailand), Mr. Paul Authachinda, Director Enterprise and Partner Group of Microsoft (Thailand) Ltd., Mr. Siriyot Srisuksawadi, Senior Executive Vice President of Krungthai Card Public Company Limited, and Dr. Pipatpong Poshyanonda, First Senior Vice President, KASIKORNBANK. In addition, there are exhibition illustrating up-to-date ICT knowledge and technology as well as the advancement of Thai software.
For “Thailand ICT Excellence Awards 2009”, the awards will be honorably presented by Dr. Santad Rojanasoonthorn, President of the Advisory Committee of Minister of Science and Technology, who will also be a distinguished guest speaker, titled “ICT ENABLING EXCELLENCE & DIFFERENTIATION”.
The Thailand ICT Excellence Awards are divided into two types;
