On behalf of Group General Manager, Mr. Bernd Schillig, Michael Howard and team donated 142,280 THB to the International Red Cross to help support the Haiti Relief Fund.
The funds were raised on February 4th, 2010 when the charitable team of Rasananda, Project L.O.V.E (Leaders Offering Value to the Earth) hosted a charity dinner.
Guest Executive Chef for the evening, 'Chef Bernd', the Group General Manager, prepared a delectable selection of his favorite dishes based on his experience cooking for Royalty and Celebrities The amazing cuisine was enjoyed by more than 50 guests in attendance.
Joining in the support was the Resorts Executive Chef, Nicholas Hall, who prepared and delivered a delicious tableside desert preparation of ‘donuts and milkshakes!’ Members of the corporate team and board of directors were also on hand offering their support.
Special thanks goes out to Colibri Foods and Wine Connection who donated key food items and wines for the evening. Also, thanks to all the guests, both resort guests and local residents, who attended and supported in making this event a success.
