Electrolux Thailand staff promotes “Earth Hour 2010” — campaign stickers promoting the electricity switch-off activity were handed out to passers by at the Electrolux building and the neighboring offices on New Petchburi Road.
Participation in Earth Hour 2010 is one of Electrolux’s ongoing Green Spirit activities, which aims to raise awareness about the current environmental crisis around the globe and encourages people to act. In addition to the one hour electricity switch-off campaign, the company is keen to educate the public about additional energy-saving activities as it always believes in people and sees them as the best resource towards building a better, more sustainable future.
The Earth Hour 2010 activity, scheduled to be held in Bangkok, Nontaburi, Chiangmai, khonkaen, and Phuket on March 27th 2010 between 20.30-21.30 hrs., aims to encourage nationwide awareness and save up to 2,000 megawatts of electricity.
