BMW Thailand plan to launch BMW Z4 sDrive23i E20, the first E20 gasohol-compatible sports roadster in Thailand at the 31st Bangkok International Motor Show during 26 March - 6 April 2010. BMW Z4 sDrive23i will be retailed at THB 4,399,000, and the higher option profile version - BMW Z4 sDrive23i Highline - will be retailed at THB 4,799.000.

Not only have all of BMW models equipped with the superior EfficientDynamics technology — higher fuel efficiency, lower emission and, yet, greater performance, but they also support the alternative energy on both diesel and petrol range. All current BMW models with the Advanced Diesel technology are compatible with the B5 biodiesel fuel. On the petrol range, we offer a total of 5 models, including BMW 730Li, BMW Z4 sDrive23i, BMW 325i Sport, BMW 320i SE and BMW 318i, that are compatible with the E20-gasohol alternative energy, while all other petrol models are compatible with E10-gasohol fuel.”

BMW Z4 sDrive23i E20 is the refined roadster that harmonizes the charming design of classic roadster and the modern technology offers the best-in-class driving dynamics with its balanced chassis and rear-wheel-drive concept. It features the light-weight retractable hardtop that can open/close within 20 seconds. And especially for the golfers, the new BMW Z4 Roaster offers enough space for 2 full-size golf bags (with roof closed). In addition, it also features the EfficientDynamics technology and capable of running the E20-gasohol alternative energy - making it the first E20-gasohol alternative energy roadster in Thailand.
The BMW Z4 sDrive23i E20 features an in-line 6-cylinder 2.5-liter E20-gasohol compatible petrol engine with VALTRONIC technology, delivering maximum output of 204 hp and maximum torque of 250 Newton-meters / 2,750 rpm. It accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 7.3 seconds and has an average fuel economy of 11.3 kilometers per liter and an average of CO2 emission of merely 207 grams per kilometer, based on EU test cycle.
The higher option profile version - BMW Z4 sDrive23i Highline - comes with additional equipments, including the CIC Car Infotainment Computer system, featuring the BMW Navigation Professional, DVD, Bluetooth mobile phone connection and hi-fi sound system. It also comes with an 18-inch alloy wheels.

Featuring in BMW Z4 sDrive23i Highline, the BMW Navigation System Professional, DVD, Bluetooth mobile phone connection and iPod USB Connector; all can be simply operated via iDrive. The new iDrive comes with a simple intuitive logic, and also features 7 shortcut buttons to directly access key functions such as navigator, telephone and multimedia. Meanwhile, the user can also set his/her favorite shortcuts to bookmark the frequent-used items, such as navigation destinations, certain telephone numbers or radio stations.
The BMW Navigation System Professional system is one of the most advanced systems available today, working based on an 80 GB hard disc - capable of using the three dimensional map data in the future and 12 GB allocation for entertainment data such as MP3. It comes with an 8.8-inch high-resolution display of 1280x480 pixels with variable layout, including preview maps, split-screen and full-screen display.
CIC Car Infotainment Computer acts as a command and control center of the car’s various functions, including on-board computer, car settings (such as central locking system, follow-me-home light function, turning indicator function, etc.), as well as navigation, communications and entertainment functions. All of which can be intuitively operated via iDrive system.
