To commemorate HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn’s 55th Birthday, which falls on April 2nd, the Bangkok Opera in cooperation with the Italian Embassy in Bangkok will be bringing the best of Italian classics to music lovers in Thailand during the month of April.
Rossini’s “Petite Messe Solennelle” will be performed on April 2nd. The German American Choir of Frankfurt will join forces with the Orpheus Choir, soloists from six countries and the acclaimed Siam Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Somtow Sucharitkul for the Thai premiere of the full version of this operatic mass.
On April 20th, the legendary music of Verde and Puccini will be showcased by the Siam Philharmonic Orchestra, under renowned Italian conductor, Giuseppe Monopoli.
