CRC Sports Ltd., “Supersports” operator for sport equipment and apparel has revealed that the company has allocated 150 million Baht to facelift the store image under concept “Supersports Brand Concept Store” by new products zoning. Also, marketing activities are set to welcome “ World Cup Fever”
CRC Sports Co., Ltd.’s Managing Director Alan Thomson revealed “Our business performance last year was satisfactory, even though political and economical situation was uncertain. We gained 4.7 % growth rate which success from the opening of 11 outlets: Central Pattaya Beach, Robinson Chonburi, Robinson Khonkaen and new facelift of 7 outlets, including the continuous events for example Supersports Super Golf Fair, Supersports Super Golf Show, Supersports Super Shoes Show, Crocs Expo.
In 2010, the overall sport market value is 15,000 million Baht, 7.32 increase while Supersports shared 29%. This year, the company expects 10 % increase and prompt to invest 150 million Baht to facelift 5 outlets (Central Pinklao, Bangna, Phuket, Chidlom and Lad Prao, our flagship) and launch 2 new stores, one store in Trang and the other is Crocs Concept store at MBK.
From this year, “Supersports Brand Concept Store” is mainly emphasized to create brand new image among customers. Zoning strategy is executed by centralized the same —complete product line into one area, dividing into 8 zones :Performance Footwear, Casual Footwear,Soccer & Futsal, Apparel,Golf,Exercise & Massage, Team Sport, Outdoor & Accessories
More creative ideas are highlighted for window display, uniform, shopping bags. The change can be seen from May starting from Central Pinklao, Bangna, Phuket, Chidlom and Lad Prao. Especially at Central Pinklao store, soccer zone is expanded because Supersports intend this store to be the complete center of soccer related products only one in Thailand.
The product development plan is to deal with soccer premiership whose matches are organized all the year. 20 leading Thai soccer clubs products and matches tables are sold at 10 stores: CentralWorld Robinson Rangsit, Srinakarin, Chonburi, Fashion Island, Robinson Chingmai Airport, Central Rama II, Rama III, Bangna and Lad Prao.
Year 2010, with synergy with partners, we will allocate 60 million Baht, arranging marketing activities more exclusive to respond customer need.
70% above the line and 30% below the line to branding Supersports are implemented with concept “partnership program”. “World Cup Fever” campaign will be released to amuse soccer lovers and Thai fan.
The partnership’s alliance can be referred to Supersports’suppliers, financial institution and other partners.
