Thai Chery Automobiles Co Ltd will attract visitors to the Chery booth at the 31st Bangkok International Motor Show with the new Chery A1, the small yet high-performance and fuel-efficient model that comes with a high affordability.
Other Chery models to be exhibited are the QQ city car, along with Tiggo SAV and Cross MPV.
Special promotions will also be offered for those who place orders at the Motor Show from March 26 to April 6.

This year, Chery will exhibit its entire product range for Thailand at its 462-sqm booth. There will be eight vehicles, comprising of the QQ, Tiggo, Cross as well as the new A1, Chery’s latest model for the Thai market. The mix of different vehicles at the Chery booth will help create an variety for customers as well as strengthen the Chery brand acceptance in Thailand.
The highlight at the Chery booth is no other than the diminutive A1, which is the true vehicle for the new generation thanks to its exceptional performance and fuel economy. The A1’s 1.3-liter 4-cylinder DOHC 16-valve engine is capable of E20 gasohol, and is capable of producing 83 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 114 Nm of torque from 3,800-4,000 rpm. The engine, which passes strict Euro 4 emission standards, is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission, allowing the A1 to reach a top speed of 156km/h while the average fuel consumption is claimed at a highly economical 20 km/liter (at 60km/h constant speed).
Despite its size, the A1 stresses upon luxury both inside and out, starting with the elegant-looking alloy wheels, roof spoiler, roof rack, front and rear foglamps, as well as rear windscreen wiper. The interior features genuine leather seats, four powered windows, powered sidevew mirrors, dual-stage central locking, remote key, air-conditioner, and audio system with four loudspeadkers. Safety features include SRS airbags for the driver and front passenger, three-point seatbelts front and rear, Immobilizer system, and ABS brakes with EBD (Electronic Brakforce Distribution). Apart from the A1, the Chery booth also exhibits many other interesting models such as the QQ, the trendy small car that offers high convenience and equipment level in a low budget, or the Tiggo SAV that comes with high versatility and convenience. Another Chery model on display is the Cross, a large 7-seater MPV for the family that offers plenty of space and a large number of seating configurations, along with an elegant all-leather interior upholstery.
