The Chevrolet AVEO 1600cc and Chevrolet Optra Estate CNG have both won an award each at the recent ‘Car of the Year’ awards organized by GrandPrix International.
Launching at the end of last year, the Chevrolet AVEO 1600cc, a compact sedan targeted at the ‘new generation’, won the Best Car award for cars under 1600cc. category. Meanwhile, the economical and multipurpose Chevrolet Optra Estate CNG won in the Best Station Wagon CNG category. This is the second consecutive year the Optra Estate CNG has won this award.
Each winner was selected by professors and automotive gurus which invited by GrandPrix International, the judges’ decisions were based on every aspect of the vehicles including design, comfortability, safety, fuel-efficiency, handling, performance, environmental friendly, satisfaction, and value.
Mr. Kaher Kazem, Vice President of Manufacturing and Quality (centre), Mr. Alastair Ironside, Director, Planning Program Management, Thailand and ASEAN, General Motors Thailand (far right), received the ‘Car of The Year 2010’ awards for the Chevrolet AVEO 1600cc and Chevrolet Optra Estate CNG. This is the second consecutive year the Optra Estate CNG has won this award. Congratulation and gave an honor for photo shooting by Mr. Anothai Eiamlamnao, President, Car of The Year Award Ceremony, and Vice President, GrandPrix International.
