Avaya has appointed Ray Teske as the Regional Director for Avaya ASEAN
Reports to the President of Avaya Asia Pacific, Fran?ois Lan?onResponsible for strategy development, business planning, customer care and sales and marketing for the company in ASEAN markets.
Teske brings more than 25 years of experience in the communications industry
He joins Avaya from Nortel where he held several executive roles - most recently as Vice President of Enterprise Sales in Japan, ASEAN and CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States)

Ray Teske is Regional Director of Avaya for ASEAN and leads the company’s operations across the region. He is responsible for strategy development, business planning, customer care and sales and marketing of the company’s technology, applications and industry-specific businesses. Teske also oversees the channel partner programs and development in the region. He is based in Bangkok, Thailand.
Teske has 25 years of experience in the Information and Communications Technology industry with the past 20 served in Asia Pacific. Prior to his current position, Teske held several executive roles at Nortel. He was most recently Vice President of Enterprise Sales where he led the overall business strategy for Nortel’s portfolio of products and solutions across the Commonwealth of Independent States, ASEAN and Japan. Previously, he held the role of General Manager of Global Accounts Asia at Nortel. Under his leadership, the business grew more than two-fold in two years.
Before his 10 year stint at Nortel, Teske led Thai-based systems integrator Telematics and worked as a consultant for The Canadian International Development Agency and The United Nations Development Program on IT strategies across Southeast Asia.
He received his education at the Coll?ges d'Enseignement G?n?ral et Professionnel, Heritage College in Quebec, Canada. He is married with three children.
