Bangkok--8 Apr--The Westin Grande Sukhumvit
Beef from Kobe and Angus cattle is regarded as the finest in the world. During April, Chef Ikeda will offer diners at the renowned Kisso Japanese restaurant an enticing selection of special beef dishes, each cooked to succulent perfection and presented with his trademark creativity.
Wagyu cattle from Kobe in Japan and Black Angus steers are selected for their premium quality meat and superior marbling. Fed on a specialized diet and a longer feeding programme for slower growth, the natural flavour and tenderness of the beef is greatly enhanced, making it prized by top chefs and discerning diners around the world.
Our gifted Chef Ikeda has created a fabulous menu for beef lovers including Kobe beef tataki, a slice of slightly broiled Kobe beef served with ponzu sauce, and Kobe beef touban wa-fu steak, pan-fried Kobe beef with a special wa-fu sauce in a “touban” pot. Other dishes of note include kimuchi gyu konabe, Angus sirloin beef and kimuchi pickles cooked with udon noodles in a pot, and karami gyu soboro on yasai, pan-fried spicy minced Angus beef sirloin and vegetable.
Join us for premium quality Kobe and Angus beef at Kisso throughout April!
Kisso features seven private tatami rooms which can accommodate from between four to 20 persons. A teppanyaki counter and sushi bar turns cooking into theatre, creating a dramatic up close and personal dining experience. Guests can watch as their meal is prepared in front of them in an exciting display of dexterity and creativity. Selected as “Thailand Best Restaurant” for 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2009 by readers of Thailand Tatler, Kisso is the place for Japanese cuisine in Bangkok.
