LAMONT is TEN this year! When Alexander Lamont started the company he was on his own,living in Chiang Mai, driving around Thailand looking for interesting materials and craftsmen.Ten years later and we have 100 people working in Lamont, five lovely shops and thousands of customers around the world. To thank everyone for their contribution to this milestone, we will be holding an auction along with TCDC of ten special things. All the proceeds will be given to the Chaipattana Foundation.
All pieces will be new Limited Editions or One-offs. They include Hand-painted screen, Carved mirror with water gilding, Shagreen buffet, Bronze candelabras, Straw marquetry frame, Fish wall sconce, Parchment chair, Lacquer top oval dining table, Antique Japanese ceramic and Jewellery piece.
The pieces will be on view at TCDC from 16 - 26 June 2010.
Details on Auction will be online from 1 June 2010 onwards.
