Bangkok--21 Apr--AIS Thailand Post (THP) joins force with GSM advance developing online Pay@Post, featuring Thailand’s first real-time payment system with immediate balance clearing after payment to facilitate GSM advance customers for free of charge, available from today. Ms. Sriprapa Yimsmith, Executive Vice President (Marketing and Business Development) of Thailand Post Co., Ltd. (THP), talked about the background of cooperation. Thailand Post places importance to the development of bill payment system through Pay@Post service in favor of service users. The online Pay@Post service of THP currently accepting bill payments for GSM advance mobile phones is ready to support real-time feature providing customers with as convenient payment service as at AIS Shop. Initially the service will start with 32 pilot Post Offices countrywide, followed by the 2nd phase expansion to 200 Post Offices within June. By the end of the year, the service will be available at all 1,200 PO locations throughout Thailand. “To celebrate the development of service, Thailand Post cordially gives commemorative bouquet stamps to customers paying GSM advance mobile phone bills through the real-time system at the 32 participating Post Offices, while supply lasts. For other Post Offices, customers can still pay their bills via existing system at no service fee too.
