Caf?@2, International Restaurant at The Conrad Bangkok, rings in the Thai new year by welcoming Thailand’s food expert and internationally-acclaimed author, Sisamon Kongpan (อาจารย์ศรีสมร คงพันธุ์) who will demonstrate her finest authentic Thai home-cooking cuisine, from 26 April — 2 May 2010.
The country’s famous Sisamon Kongpan is the teacher of Thai cookery in The Royal Palace’s College and an honorable consultant of many Thai restaurants in the overseas. She is known for her passion in ensuring quality and consistency of authentic Thai food and is the key to recipe formulation for the curriculum that helped popularized the campaign “Thai Cuisine to the World”.
The author of internationally-published cookbooks such as “Popular Thai Cuisine” and “The Best of Thai Dishes”, Sisamon has worked with the National Research Council Thailand to make sure that traditional Thai food and its charm retain undisputable standards, history and values, while living up to its name in the global arena.
