Bangkok--4 May--LG Electronics
LG Electronics (Thailand) Co., Ltd has made a significant donation of computer equipment to Suankularb Wittayalai Nonthaburi School.
Valued at nearly half a million baht, the donation is part of LG’s strong commitment to using technology as a means of supporting education development in Thailand and comprises of 38 LG Network Monitors, powered by four PCs.
LG Network Monitors are a perfect solution for the IT needs of schools and businesses since they can dramatically reduce costs by allowing up to 11 users to simultaneously share a single computer as if they were using separate PCs. This is made possible because typically, just 10 per cent of the computing power of a single regular PC is being utilized at any given time. LG’s Network Monitors harness these extra resources by redistributing the remaining 90 per cent to several users, simultaneously. The Network Monitor system offers maximum computing at minimum cost, providing savings of up to 60 per cent on the cost of hardware, 70 per cent on maintenance and 90 per cent on electricity compared to the same number of individual PCs.
