Best Western International - The World’s Largest Hotel Chain? - is exhibiting at the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2010 for the third year, signifying the importance it places on the Middle East and Gulf Cooperation Council nations as a key source market and a destination with strong potential for strategic development and brand growth.

Best Western International Asia aims to have 50 hotels and resorts across the Middle East by 2015. It currently has159 properties in operation, going through rebranding and under construction in such destinations as China, India, Bangladesh, South Korea, Japan, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Qatar, Oman and Bahrain. As Asia’s fastest growing chain, it plans to reach 300 properties by 2015.

With positive signs of a global economic recovery and immense infrastructure investment in places like Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Oman, Qatar and Bahrain, we are confident the growth in hotel development will continue.
