To celebrate the 200th anniversary of the birth of 2 greatest composers of all time, Frederic Chopin and Robert Schumann, the Stock Exchange of Thailand proudly presents a spectacular concert in the Settrade Musical Moment Series entitled “An Enchanted Evening with Young Pianists V: A Homage to Chopin and Schumann”.
Come and enjoy an unforgettable evening of magnificent classical music performed by a group of young talented and award-winning musicians that you don’t want to miss. Eleven outstanding young pianists, students of Dr. Nopanand Chanorathaikul, will perform with six guest artists.
A rare opportunity to enjoy a nice variety of genres, the repertoire of the evening includes masterpieces written for piano solo, piano and voice (lieder), piano and oboe, and piano and strings. This concert will be held on Friday, May 14, 2010, starting at 7:00 PM. at Prof. Sangvian Indaravijaya Auditorium, 3rd Floor, the Stock Exchange of Thailand Building. All proceeds of the concert will go towards the expenses of young pianists, students of Dr. NopanandChanorathaikul, who will participate in the 4th ASEAN International Chopin Piano Competition in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in November 2010.
