Today, Epson launched the Epson iPrint photo printing app that helps owners of Ethernet and Wi-Fi enabled Epson printers to wirelessly print photos directly from their Apple iPhone or iPod touch. An upcoming version or Epson iPrint that is optimized for the recently launched Apple iPad is expected to be made available within three months.
Epson iPrint for Apple iPhone and iPod Touch
The Epson iPrint app is compatible with Apple iPhones or iPod touch devices running iPhone OS version 2.2.1 or later. Epson iPrint also works with most Epson Wi-Fi enabled printers or Epson Ethernet printers that are connected to a wireless network via a wireless router. The Epson iPrint app is can be downloaded free of charge from the “iPhone” and “iPod” sections at the Apple App Store at www.itunes.com/appstore/.
Upcoming Epson iPrint for Apple iPad
A version of the Epson iPrint app that is optimized to work with the recently launched Apple iPad is also expected to be available within the next three months.
