Oman Air has appointed Mr. Ahmed Hazeem Al Balushi as District Sales Manager-Thailand — Thailand with responsibility for all sales activities for the Airline.
Prior to this position, he was attached to Oman Air’s Chennai office in India where he held the similar position. Ahmed also worked with a multinational bank in UAE and with Gulf Air prior to joining Oman Air.
"We see a great market potential in Thailand as a tourist destination in our growing network, especially from home market like Oman as passengers not only use Thailand for tourism but for medical as well. In the last 2 years we have grown our frequency from 5 to 9 flights per week. This indicates our keen interest in the Thailand Market,” said Mr. Al Balushi.
He will be working along with the existing team of professionals to ensure that Oman Air protect and enhance the market growth in Thailand.
“After gaining experience in different fields, I decided to serve my country and my national carrier and be part of the success of one of the youngest international airlines in the world,” added Mr. Al Balushi.
