Tesco Lotus Senior Vice President Dr Darmp Sukontasap welcomed Minister of Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives Theera Wongsamut to preside over the opening ceremonies of the Eastern Fruit Festival running from May 13-26, 2010 at all Tesco Lotus hypermarkets nationwide. Tesco Lotus will buy 20,000 tons of fruit worth 750 million baht to deal with seasonal surpluses and maintain farm prices.
