Currently, Unithai shipyard has passed the certified assessment from world-class certified party TUV Nord from Germany to achieve quality accredited of ISO14000. The award guaranteed that Unithai Shipyard has best performance of Total Environmental Management System. At the same time, Unithai Shipyard has also passes the Surveillance Audit from TUV Nord on quality management ISO 9001:2008, OHSAS 18001:2007 and TIS 18001:1999 standard for Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OH&SMS).
Proactive community care programs, employee welfare, international safety and environmental standards are core to Unithai Group Culture. All operations have strictly followed corporate policy to maintain best practice on health care, safety, security and environmental concerned.
Unithai Shipyard has continued a journey of safety milestone of Million Man Hours DAWC commenced counting from October 24, 2008, achieved 6 Million Man Hours DAWC on August 7, 2009, currently has achieved 10 Million Man Hours DAWC.
In addition, currently, Unithai Shipyard has been passed the verification from Department of Labour Protection and Welfare of Chonburi Province and to be recognised as the best practice on HSSE standard including community activities in provincial level. Now, it’s been proceeding to achieve the National Safety Award.
