Mr. Istvan Kuti, General Manager of Consumer Lifestyle Sector of Philips Electronics (Thailand) Ltd., presents its more than 100 new products under Health and Well-being direction and identifies four strategic platforms for growth; Interactive Living, Home Living, Healthy Life and Personal Care. The company also launches new consumer promotion campaign Philips Go International to aggressively penetrate in Thailand’s Health and Well-being domain in 2010.
Mr. Kut said that “We are seeing new consumer behavior appear. They are turning more and more to find products and solutions that can help enhance improve their health and well-being. This deep consumer understanding enabled us to solidify our strategy and is the basis of the innovation roadmap we have indentified for our sector. This roadmap has resulted in four platforms for innovation and growth; Interactive Living, Home Living, Healthy Life and Personal Care.”

Philips Interactive Living is about sharing rich, pleasurable life experiences, free of any boundaries. The product highlights includes Philips LED TV featuring direct-lit LED backlighting technology in 5000 and 6000 series offering the outstanding picture quality together with Philips LCD TV with Philips’s Pixel Plus HD technology offering the unique combination of ultimate sharpness, natural detail, vivid colors and smooth natural motion on all qualities of HD, standard TV signals and multimedia content.
Philips digs deep into its rich heritage and strong expertise in high-end sound to deliver a new range of audio and home cinema systems under its ‘Obsessed with sound’ campaign. The new Philips HTS9520 Blu-Ray Home Theater with 360Sound is designed with uniquely positioned sound drivers that fill your entire room with surround sound. New marketing and consumer promotion campaign.
Mr. Kuti said that Philips has seen the potential growth this year thanks to the fact that the economy in Thailand and global has been recovering as well as the upcoming FIFA World Cup competition in June that will help to boost the market. Philips this year launches new consumer promotion campaign Philips Go International, between 1 May - 31 July 2010, to allow consumers purchasing Philips consumer lifestyle products worth 1,000 Baht up to win for over 600 prizes with the total prize value of 1.6 million Baht.
In addition, Philips also plans to introduce other marketing campaigns to support each product categories in 2010. Some of these are

To support the marketing activities and plans in 2010, Philips continues its roadshow activities
