Up to 11 monitors connected to a single host computer reduce purchase costs, power consumption and maintenance
LG Electronics showcased its innovative N Series Network Monitors. The monitors are designed to dramatically reduce costs for organizations by letting multiple users simultaneously share a single computer as if they were using separate PCs, harnessing a computer’s unused resources by redistributing them to several users, simultaneously.
Today’s multi-core computers are so powerful that the vast majority of applications use only two to five-percent of an average computer’s capacity. LG’s N Series Network Monitors make use of the computers’ unused capacity, and enable up to 11 users to share a single PC without compromising performance, stability or speed. Offices are able to maximize investment of their computing technology through lowering purchasing and hardware costs, and reduced maintenance because it doesn’t require each user to have an individual desktop PC. By reducing the number of PCs needed for a multi-user setup, the LG’s N Series Network Monitors also minimizes E-waste.

N Series Network Monitors can be installed in just a few minutes and reduce the amount of maintenance and IT support needed for a typical office or classroom environment that requires the operation of multiple computers. The N1742 model also offers PS/2 ports for a keyboard and mouse, providing users with increased flexibility for placement and positioning. LG’s N Series Network Monitors render clear, crisp images and 5-millisecond response rate. Additionally, this system offers consumers straightforward management including easy software and hardware set up, and central control support. The system can be secured and maintained by those with basic PC knowledge.
