Acer Computer Co., Ltd., Thailand's No. 1 computer vendor, ntroduced a completely redesigned Acer Aspire product line with unique designs. Powered by optimal Intel technology, the new Acer Aspire offers a wide range of choices to serve every need. The launch is highlighted by the Aspire TimelineX that answers consumer demand for ultra-thin and powerful computers powered by the Intel? Core? i which is offering more than 10 hours of battery life. In addition, the Aspire One family is being rolled out to offer convenience in all aspects of life to consumers.
Mr. Nitipat Praweenwongwuthi, Senior Manager, Marketing Division, Acer Computer Co., Ltd., said Acer takes a big step to revamp the design and innovation of its Aspire series after the successful introduction of the ultra-thin and ultra-light Acer Aspire Timeline series with over eight hours of battery life.
In its latest move as an innovation leader, Acer has integrated new design ingenuity and higher efficiency into its Aspire TimelineX range of notebooks, desktop PCs, and netbooks. Every product in this family enjoys a complete redesign. In particular, notebooks in each series have been reimagined to express every user’s individual identity, while addressing consumer demand and expanding the market. The Aspire TimelineX family comprises of 11 series of notebooks, two series of desktop PCs, and one series of netbooks. All products will be launched from mid of the second quarter of this year.

This smart technology improve notebooks to manage energy use better than ever, allowing up to 66% lower power consumption compared with standard notebooks.
The Acer Aspire TimelineX offers an outstanding, simple-but-stylish design. Its crafted brushed-metal aluminum exterior makes the machine durable and is available in black and silver. The first two series, Aspire 3820TG and Aspire 4820TG, come with 13-inch and 14-inch displays respectively, in an ultra-thin case just 0.8 mm. thick. The machines are powered by Intel? Core? i Processor and boast an ATI Mobility Radeon? HD 5650 video graphic card with VRAM 1GB and Direct X11 support for optimal graphics performance. Acer CineCrystal? enhances vivid brightness with LED 16:9 high definition, and each model includes the Acer Crystal Eye webcam plus Dolby? Sound Room? that simulates 5.1 audio.
The new series are made even more exceptional with the Acer Power Smart Key, an exclusive technology by Acer to help the user extends battery life. The Acer Backup Manager provides easy and fast backup of data, based on the Genuine Windows 7 Home Premium operating system. Models start at just 26,900 Baht (excluding VAT 7%).
Acer's latest series, the Aspire One D260 is in Ultra Mobility Netbooks family, offers high-performance portability with its 360-degree rotation axis in a finely-designed case available in four colors: Purple Flake, Charcoal Flake, Black Flake, and Pink Flake, plus a bottom cover that’s more stylish at any angle and equipped with a wall-mount adapter, making it easy to go anywhere. The machine's performance offers greater power than the typical netbook with its Intel? Atom? 455 and DDR3 RAM. Aspire One D260 is less than 1” thick, lightweight, and features a 1.3-megapixel Acer CrystalEyes Webcam. It starts at only 11,900 baht (excluding 7% VAT).
Acer is also introducing eight fully new notebook series that use lighter materials in a special design. Premium to the series are the Aspire 8943G and AS5943G models in a stylish, durable, and light magnesium alloy case; featuring the Acer CineCrystal Full High Definition LED Frameless design at 18.4 inches and the Acer CineCrystal High Definition LED Frameless design at 15.6 inches. The Aspire 4745G and Aspire 5745G series come with a distinct, attractive look with their stylish black-brushed covers, featuring the Acer CineCrystal High Definition LED at 14 inches and 15.6 inches respectively. The Aspire 4551, Aspire 4551G, Aspire 4741, and Aspire 4741G series are best suited for general use under the concept Home Touch. The machines offer a chic, metallic-blue finish designed to protect against fingerprints and scratches, and feature an Acer CineCrystal High Definition LED 14-inch display completely revamped for the NVIDIA? GeForce? 300 series/ATI Mobility Radeon? HD 5000 series, sporting the Acer CrystalEyes Webcam with 1.3 million pixels and a large touchpad plus one-button clickpad for left and right clicking.
As for desktop computer category, Acer launches two new series: Aspire M1900 and Aspire M3910, redesigned to be more durable and attractive. The Aspire M1900 offers added sturdiness and durability. The Aspire M3900 is more appealing to the eyes with its new mesh designed to ward off scratches and fingerprints. More versatility has been added to their interior hardware, equipped with an HDD slot in the front, allowing easier and faster hard-disk add-ons.
