Bangkok--24 May--Bangkok Bank
Bangkok Bank will open its branches nationwide to provide full service as usual on Monday, May 24, except for six branches in the inner city of Bangkok which are not yet ready to open for business pending inspection and assessment of the structure of the buildings by officials.
Bangkok Bank Executive Vice President Ruchanee Nopmuang said the bank is ready to open its branches nationwide and provide full service as usual, except for six branches which are awaiting assessment by certified engineers and Bangkok Metropolitan Administration’s Civil Engineering Office. These branches are Din Daeng Road, Asok-Din Daeng, Khlong Toei, Saphan Luang, Central World and Big C Ratchadamri branches.
“Our branches nationwide are ready to provide all kinds of financial services to customers as usual. Customers can ask for locations of branches near those not yet open from Bualuang Phone service by calling 1333 or visiting Bangkok Bank website www.bangkokbank.com. For the damage to the buildings and all properties, we are working with the engineers and relevant government offices to repair the branches so that they can reopen as soon as possible,” she said.
“In addition to branch transactions, we would like to remind customers of the use of electronic banking channels which remain available even after banking hours, such as ATMs and other self-service machines, Bualuang Phone telephone banking on 1333 or 0-2645-5555, and internet banking Bualuang iBanking which is accessible with both computers and mobile phones” Mrs. Ruchanee said.
