The meeting of The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) member companies today (May 25) elected three SET governors to replace those whose term will end on May 27, 2010. These elected are Mr. Rapee Sucharitakul, Executive Chairman, Kasikorn Asset Management Co., Ltd: Mr. Somjate Moosirilert, Chairman and Chairman of the Executive Board, Thanachart Securities PCL; and Mr. Surabhon Kwunchaithunya, Director and Vice Executive Chairman, Country Group Securities PCL. Their terms will run from May 28, 2010 — May 27, 2012.
The outgoing governors are Khunying Jada Wattanasiritham and Mr. Montree Sornpaisarn; Mr. Somjate was re-elected for a second term.
