Bangkok Bank President Chartsiri Sophonpanich (5th from left) presents children’s books about basic financial knowledge worth Baht 4 million to Bangkok Governor M.R. Sukhumbhand Paribatra (5th from right) and Deputy Governor Taya Teepsuwan (4th from right). The book, published by the Ministry of Education, the Stock Exchange of Thailand, and Praphansarn publishing will be distributed to 435 school libraries under the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration. The book aims to educate children about the economy, the philosophy of the sufficiency economy, and prudent management of personal finances. It is hoped such education will help strengthen the future of the Thai economy.
