Bangkok--1 Jun--LG-One
Mr Thanyachet Akevejwit, Marketing Director, LG Electronics (Thailand) Co. Ltd. (middle) brought an LG technical team to clean air-conditioners for Bonkai residents.
LG Electronics (Thailand) Co., Ltd. recently returned fresh air and good health to Bonkai residents, providing first hand assistance to those exposed to smoke from burning tyres. LG is now offering a free air conditioner cleaning service to residents in other affected communities, regardless of what brand of air-conditioner they own.
“LG feels it is important to truly be part of the community by providing assistance to those who have been affected by the recent political situation,” said Mr Thanyachet Akevejwit, Marketing Director, LG Electronics (Thailand) Co. Ltd. “If smoke and particles from burning tyres enter an air-conditioning system, they can affect people’s breathing and lead to respiratory problems. To help minimize this, our team of air conditioning specialists will visit affected households to check and fully clean their air-conditioners,” he said.
Over the coming weeks, the LG technical team will visit other communities around Bangkok: Pathumwan, Bangrak, Klongtoey, Wattana, Ratchathewee, Sathorn and Dindaeng, helping those affected by smoke from burning tyres. Residents interested in take advantage of this free service should call the LG call center on 02-878-5757 before 15 June.
