TNT will work with a single visual identity from April on. The orange color and TNT logo will compose all the visual communication of TNT Aracatuba, the new brand resulted from the acquisition of Expresso Ara?atuba by TNT in 2009. The brand will identify a business unit of the company that includes the services of road transportation and domestic air cargo with a strong presence in the North and Midwest. The launch of the TNT Aracatuba brand will be held during the Intermodal, from April 6th to April 8th, in Sao Paulo
Beyond TNT Aracatuba, TNT has, in Brazil, the brands TNT Mercurio (result from the acquisition of Mercurio Express in 2007 and that includes services of domestic road transportation, air freight, with a strong presence in the South, Southeast and Northeast) and TNT, which provides a wide range of fast and reliable international express delivery services to over 200 countries .
The most visible part of the brand unification will be printed on company’s vehicles. On one side of it, they will have the TNT Aracatuba brand and in the other, TNT Mercurio. "The creation of the TNT Ara?atuba brand is part of a company unification process, following recent acquisitions in Brazil. Our goal is that the client identifies TNT as a single point of contact supplier for several transport services", said Roberto Rodrigues, president of TNT. The executive also says that TNT Ara?atuba will receive investments in technology with the introduction of the barcode scanners system and integration of technologies, resulting in process benefits.
International brand design agency Design Bridge was commissioned to create the new TNT Ara?atuba identity. A long term partner, Design Bridge also developed the TNT Mercurio identity “Brazil is one of the few countries among the 200 in which TNT operates where the company works with co-branding. This way we could combine the reputation of TNT in the international transportation sector with the brand Expresso Aracatuba, widely recognized in the domestic market” explains Rodrigues.
Brand TNT Aracatuba will be presented to the market during the Intermodal due to the importance of the fair for the sector. Organizers expect 45 thousand visitors and, in addition to a stand of 100 square at the event, TNT will exhibit a truck with the new brand at the Transamerica Expo Center main entrance. “The participation of TNT at Intermodal is strategic for the company to contact the international players who visit the fair, since we are working to expand our service IRE (International Road Express), which provides road express delivery from Brazil to Argentina and Chile”, said Ricardo Gelain, TNT Marketing Director. The executive emphasis that TNT is the only company that serves the entire country with its own structure.
