Unithai Container Terminal recently welcomed the MV Cape Santiago as the Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL) vessel made her maiden call at the facility. She is the second of four 1,300-TEU container carriers that are independently operated by OOCL, and will be berthed at the Unithai Terminal in Samutprakarn every Wednesday to load cargo.

The company has introduced a China-Thailand-Vietnam service (CTV) in response to increasing customer demand in the region. The port rotation is Dalian-Xingang-Qingdao-Xiamen-Hong Kong-Ho Chi Minh City-Laem Chabang-Bangkok-Laem Chabang-Ho Chi Minh City-Hong Kong-Dalian.
