Kittipong Asawapichayon, Country Manager, General Business, IBM Thailand Co., Ltd. (right) and Assistant Professor Dr. Sermkiat Jomjunyong, Dean of Faculty of Engineering, Chiang Mai University (left), presented award and certificate to 2nd i-Tim Robotics Summer Camp winners, a summer program hosted by Department of Computer Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Chiang Mai University, in collaboration with NSTDA Northern Network. The camp was for secondary school students to study robot mechanism, including robot design, building, and programming. There were 47 qualified students nationwide participating the program for 5 days 4 nights, recently. This program is aligned with IBM Thailand’s vision to support education in Thailand, especially introducing Thai students to sciences and information technology.
The winner team who invented “Smart eye-glasses and walking stick for the visually impaired”, Kanin Intanonglak from Montfort College and Tarin Klaywong from Khema Phirataram School.
