Thailand’s leading gold trader Ausiris reinforces its market position with more customer activities and the launch of Ausiris Gold Investment Consultant and Ausiris Futures Consultant Teams to facilitate support to gold traders. The company is confident that Ausiris‘s large product portfolio can respond to all its customer’s demands.
Mr. Boonlert Siripatvanich, President and CEO of Ausiris Co., Ltd. reveals that the company’s business direction for 2010 focuses on strengthening its business development which responds to the varied demands of investors, as well as offering a complete range of gold investment services. Ausiris customers can choose to invest in bullions, gold coins, gold savings program or gold futures through various channels developed by the company.
‘’The expected sales of the company in 2010 is 25,000 million baht, up from last year’s 18,000 million baht, which represents 38 percent growth giving the company a 15 percent market share. We’re looking forward to opening a few more branches after having recently opened our Hat Yai office. In addition, the gold savings programmes launched last year, and the variety of attractive motifs and sizes of Ausiris gold coins as well as our internet trading service, have all been well-received by gold investors”.
For the Ausiris Futures Company (AFC), or broker for gold futures trading, in 2010 the company aims to hold a 13 percent market share, equivalent an average of 21,000 gold futures contracts per month. This is an increase from an 11.60 percent market share in 2009, placing Ausiris as the market’s No.1 broker among gold related trading agents. It also aims to increase the number of clients to reach 1,000 corporate accounts. From the beginning of this year, the average company sales volume has been around 17,500 contracts per month. Regarding Selling Agents (SAs), Ausiris Futures plans to increase to 10 SAs within 2010, targeting strategic urban cities by working closely with serious business partners who are interested in becoming Ausiris Futures Sales Agents. The company has managed to break even since October 2009, only six months after the trade was opened and much sooner than previously anticipated.
