KASIKORNBANK, in cooperation with 4 other domestic banks has provided financial support worth 2,460 million Baht for the construction of the 40 storey Sathorn Square Office Building in heart of Sathorn Road in order to meet the growing demands of centrally located office sites with close proximity to public transport system.
Mr. Thiti Tantikulanan, Capital Markets Business Department Head, KASIKORNBANK states that KASIKORNBANK, Bay of Ayudhaya, TMB Bank, Siam City Bank and Thanachart Bank jointly signed the Syndicated Loan Facility agreement offering 2,460 million Baht to Golden Land Property PLC for the construction and operation of the luxurious 40 storey Sathorn Square Office. This development is designed to satisfy the needs of Grade A Office buildings located in the Bangkok’s Central Business District (CBD), with close proximity to BTS stations and major public transport hubs.
In addition to being a mandated lead arranger, KBank is acting as a security agent while BAY acts as facility agent in this syndicated loan facility accommodation.
Mr. William Wilfong, CEO of Golden Land Property Development claims that Sathorn Square, a 75,000 square metre Grade A office tower is located in the heart of Bangkok’s Central Business District between intersection of Sathorn Road and Narathiwas Road, and is conveniently located adjacent to Chong Nonsi BTS station. The development offers 1,900 to 2,000 square metres of net lettable office space per floor in a column-free design that provides maximum efficiency and flexibility for large as well as small tenants. Sathorn Square is on schedule for completion in Q4 2010 and is the only Grade A office project scheduled be completed in Bangkok between now and late 2011.
