Chevron Thailand Exploration and Production, Ltd., operating petroleum exploration and production business in the Gulf of Thailand since 1962, announces its new President, Pairoj Kaweeyanun, effective since 1 July 2010, after Tara Tiradnakorn’s retirement. Pairoj received a Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering from Chulalongkorn University and a certificate from Chevron Advanced Management Program, Chevron Corporation, USA.
Pairoj joined Chevron in 1996 as a Senior Well Services Engineer. In January 2010 he was appointed to be Vice President, Chevron Thailand Exploration and Production, Ltd., and between 2008 and 2009 he was General Manager, Marine Services, Chevron Shipping Co., Ltd.
