HSBC VISA PLATINUM LAUNCHES A ‘MORE LIFE REWARDS’ CAMPAIGN OFFERING TOP-CLASS POOL VILLA SUITES TO CARDHOLDERS; AIMING TO CONTINUE ITS UPWARD TREND IN CARD SPENDING
HSBC Thailand continues to offer a more rewarding lifestyle to its Visa Platinum Cardholders by introducing a new ‘More Life Rewards’ campaign. Cardholders, meeting a 3-month accumulated purchase requirement during 15 July — 15 October 2010, can enjoy some relaxing moments at a Pool Villa Suite, Six Senses, Hua Hin. The bank expects the campaign to help continue its upward trend in credit card spending during the second half of the year.
Mr. Wichit Phayuhanaveechai, Head of Personal Financial Services, HSBC Thailand said: HSBC Visa Platinum Card is well-recognised as a leading credit card among the affluent segment. After the successful launch of ‘A More Rewarding Journey’ campaign earlier this year, HSBC is pleased to continue offering unrivalled benefits to its cardholders through this new ‘More Life Rewards’ campaign. The campaign allows customers to enjoy irresistible rewards from their card purchases - either a shopping voucher or a stay at a top-class hotel.
Mr. Wichit added: Due to the exceptional year-round offers, HSBC Visa Platinum Card could both encourage existing card members to maintain their spending, while also attract a large number of new card members in the first quarter. To encourage customers to resume and increase spending - now that the recent political unrest has ended - we are delighted to debut this new marketing campaign.
HSBC Visa Platinum Card continues to satisfy customers’ lifestyles by allowing them to enjoy selectable rewards when they meet the purchase requirement during 15 July - 15 October 2010 (minimum spend of 40,000 Baht per month over 3 consecutive months):
- 3-month accumulated purchase of 150,000 Baht or more: Receive a Central Gift Voucher worth 2,400 Baht;
- 3-month accumulated purchase of 300,000 Baht or more: Choose either an Emporium/Paragon Gift Voucher worth 4,800 Baht or a two-night stay at the Horizon room, Alila, Cha-Am, worth 17,720 Baht;
- 3-month accumulated purchase of 500,000 Baht or more: Choose either a Coach voucher worth 10,000 Baht or a two-night stay at the Pool Village room, Rest Detail Hotel, Hua Hin, worth 35,310 Baht;
- 3-month accumulated purchase of 1,000,000 Baht or more: Choose either a gold necklace (15.16 grams) worth 19,350 Baht, or a 2-night stay at the Pool Villa Suite, Six Senses, Hua Hin, worth 71,600 Baht
Moreover, HSBC Premier MasterCard members who have a 3-month accumulated purchase of at least 1.5 million Baht (minimum spend of 60,000 Baht per month) will receive either a 1.5-Baht gold necklace worth 29,025 Baht, or 200,000 HSBC Reward Points redeemable for two round-trip tickets on a two-continent journey (Europe and Asia).
New customers who apply for an HSBC Visa Platinum Card from now until 31 August 2010 and who also meet the spending requirements can select either a 1-Baht Gold necklace; 20,000 HSBC Reward Points; or a Huskies luggage. For more information, please visit www.hsbc.co.th or call 02614 5555.
In addition to ‘More Life Rewards’ benefits, HSBC will continue to provide superb privileges to its customers in the latter half of the year, such as special discounts at award-winning hotels and leading stores. Mr. Wichit finally remarked that “We believe that our target customers still retain strong purchasing power, and are willing to spend, as long as they find the benefits offered by the credit card fit their lifestyles and provides good value for money.”
