Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI) was recently presented with SIM cards and mobile phones from True Corporation Public Company Limited for THAI to offer passengers to use during irregularities.
Mr. Lek Klinvibul, THAI Managing Director, Ground Customer Services Department, received the 33 SIM cards with the mobile phones for ground handling staff, said it was a good opportunity for THAI to have received SIM cards and mobile phones from True as THAI needs to offer the phone service to foreign customers when irregularities occur.
Furthermore, TRUE Corporation also provided 20,000 free prepaid International SIM Cards to THAI to give out to passengers upon arrival in Bangkok, starting on 1 August 2010. Passengers who receive these SIM cards will be able to make local and international calls for the duration of the special promotion in the SIM cards.
