On Tuesday, August 3rd, 2010 from 7:00 — 8:30 pm., V9 Wine Bar and Restaurant invites all wine lovers to sample the delicate flavor of award-winning extraordinary wines from Pemberton winery which has produced consistently exceptional wines at an affordable price. The grapes are vinified under the direction of their experienced winemaker Bernie Stanlake who is crafting a unique signature to make Fonty’s Pool one of Western Australia’s most distinctive wineries.
The wines to be served during the wine tasting are 2009 Fonty’s Pool Sauvignon Blanc Semillon, 2009 Fonty's Pool Viognier, 2009 Fonty’s Pool Pinot Noir and 2008 Fonty’s Pool Cabernet Merlot, Mr. Paul Mc Ardle, CEO Fonty’s Pool, will present the wine for this evening.
Fonty’s Pool vineyard was first established in 1989 and covers 69 hectares. Pemberton is the coolest wine region in Western Australia, principally due to its elevation above sea level and its close proximity to Great Southern and Indian Oceans. The 2009 Sauvignon Blanc Semillon has received a Silver Medal at the worlds most prestigious and influential independent wine competition from International Wine Challenge.
