TMB announced today that it will increase rates by 20 to 50 basis points to meet the needs of term-deposit customers. The new rates will be effective 21 July 2010.
The Bank’s new term deposit interest rates will be changed as follows: from 0.65% to 0.85% for a three (3) month deposit, 0.65% to 1% for six (6) months, 0.75% to 1% for 12 months, 1.50% to 1.75% for 24 months and 1.75% to 2.25% for 36 months. TMB also slightly adjusted its MLR rate from 6.25% to 6.375%.
