Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI) announces its place in the Top 10 best International Airlines in the Travel & Leisure survey.
This year marks the 15th year the survey has been conducted, and was made available to Travel & Leisure readers on its website. Votes were cast for top hotels, destinations, airlines, cruises, outfitters, and transportation companies in the world. The 15th annual and 2010 World’s Best Awards is a celebration of the travel experience with the world’s cities, hotels, airlines and more.
Mr. Piyasvasti Amranand, THAI President, said THAI ranked 8th in the Travel & Leisure’s World's Best Awards, which was conducted independently by Travel & Leisure in association with ROI Research Inc. While THAI is most pleased to see this kind of result, THAI continues to strive for higher placing as its business strategies start to bear fruit in the coming future.
In the World’s Best Cities category, Thailand came out with the top two Best Cities in the world, with Bangkok placing 1st and Chiang Mai placing 2nd. Traveling to or from the world’s best two cities is also a world-class experience with THAI.
