L’OCCITANE, high quality of body care, skincare, fragrance and hair care beauty products based on natural and organic essential oils from Provence, France led by Mr.Harald Link, CEO of B.Grimm organized ‘The Glorious Peony Garden’ to introduce ‘L’OCCITANE Peony Collection’, the new fragrance and make-up collection that containing peony extract. It was the first cosmetic collection by L’OCCITANE. The opening event was presided over by Mr.Pascal Furth, Economic and Commercial Councellor, French Embassy and Ms.Yuwadee Chirathivat, President of Central Department Store at Piano Hall, Central Chidlom.
As the peony has long been considered a symbol of beauty, L’OCCITANE had approached a world-renowned French nurseryman, Mr.Jean-Luc Rivi?re - a man with a passion for peonies, whose family has devoted itself to breeding and cultivating them for 160 years in France. Today L’OCCITANE Peony collection is created to serve the beauty and to experience of well-being.
The party was transformed into the Peony nursery garden overflowing with dazzling colours and scents for brightening season. Besides the heaven of Peony, guests enjoyed the serenade by Bangkok Symphony Orchestra and entertained by ‘A Peony Ballet Dance’. Highlight of the event included the story of Peony telling by six young celebrities including M.L.Sirinee Saktidej Bhanubandh, M.L.Napas Rajani, Pattaraporn Salirathavibhaga, Pattaraphan Salirathavibhaga, Chanya Pranich and Patchara Chirathivat. The young celebrities represented the beauty inspiration from Peony’s breeds such as Hope, Cheeky, Red Cloud, Indian Summer, Dawn and Snow Star. In addition, there was the charity auction on Peony painting by Narin Phothisombat which Sirikarn Saktidej Bhanubandh won the piece for 100,000 Baht. The proceeds after expenses deduction will go to ‘Make a Wish’ Thailand Foundation to grant wishes to children with a long life threatening medical condition.
L’OCCITANE Peony Collection offers the new fragrance and make-up collection with palette of shades. The fragrance collection captures the subtle aura of the peony in rich floral scent with hints of green freshness. The make-up collection contains an exclusive natural peony extract with softening properties. They also contain a mica powder coated with mimosa from Provence, so that the formulas glide on smoothly and feel comfortable on the skin.
