About the Speaker:
K.Dusit graduated from Vajiravudh College in 1964, earned a B.E. Civil Engineering, Youngstown State University, Ohio (1968), M.S. Structural Engineering, Ohio State University (1969), M.B.A. Marketing, University of California at Los Angeles (1977) and has attended the Executive Program, Marketing Management, A Strategic Prospective, Stanford University (1985), the Advanced Management Program, Harvard Business School (1994).
He has been Chairman, Thai Institute of Directors (2000), completed Directors Certification Program (DCP 24), and the Audit Committee Program (ACP 10) Thai Institute of Directors (2002) and (2004).
He has had a long and illustrious career starting as a Design Engineer, The E.J. DeBartolo Corp. and the Franklin Engineering Ltd., U.S.A. and then in 1969 joined the Siam Cement Group working in the Construction Material Marketing Co.,Ltd., as an Engineer, moving up through management holding several Managing Director positions in subsidiary companies including SCT Co.,Ltd. and Siam Guardian Glass Co.,Ltd. Then moving in 1995 to Vice President, The Siam Cement Public Co.,Ltd. and then in 1999-2005 as President, Cementhai Distribution Co.,Ltd.
Outside of work he has an avid interest in music and sports, especially rugby football, where he was a member of the Thai National Team in 1974.
