Nominations for the 6th annual AsiaSpa Awards will be closing on August 29th on the AsiaSpa website. Showcasing 28 categories that highlight and pay tribute to the latest in spa trends, the AsiaSpa Awards will give recognition to the top spas in the region.
With categories such as “Best Urban Spa of the Year” and “Best Holistic Treatment of the Year”, the awards honour current trends, consistent performances and the movers and shakers of this burgeoning industry. This year, the new category “Most Innovative Spa” honours spas that take an innovative approach to health and wellness by demonstrating an original spa concept, cutting-edge design and unique spa treatments.
This year’s awards ceremony is slated to be held on 11 November 2010 at Hong Kong’s newest designer hotel, The Mira. A design-led, award-winning urban retreat in Hong Kong’s shopping and entertainment mecca Tsimshatsui, The Mira showcases contemporary design, unique interiors, ambient soundscapes and personalised service; in a setting of understated luxe. Its outside roof terrace Vibes boasts colourful landscaping, excellent sound systems and chic outdoor seating. With a 400+ guest list, the evening promises to be a night of opulent celebration as 28 lucky winners receive awards for being the best of the best.
