EXIM Thailand in collaboration with 9 banks will hold “EXIMSurance Alliance Fair” on September 9-10, 2010 between 10.00 to 22.00 hrs., at Fashion Hall, 1st Floor, Siam Paragon.
Export-Import Bank of Thailand (EXIM Thailand) joins 9 other banks, namely, TMB Bank Public Company Limited, Islamic Bank of Thailand, Government Savings Bank, Bank of Ayudhya Public Company Limited, Kasikornbank Public Company Limited, Krung Thai Bank Public Company Limited, Siam Commercial Bank Public Company Limited, Bangkok Bank Public Company Limited and Siam City Bank Public Company Limited in organizing the “EXIMSurance Alliance Fair” on September 9-10, 2010 between 10.00 to 22.00 hrs. at Fashion Hall, 1st Floor, Siam Paragon to promote export risk protection among exporters. This facility allows exporters to apply for EXIMSurance service at any banks. The Fair also features advisory services on financing facilities for overseas projects, including other financial services and privileges relating to overseas trade transactions. This special event is not to be missed as exporters could register to apply for special privileges available only at the Fair, such as discount on overseas buyer/bank risk assessment fees, free distribution of “Export and Investment Focus Volume 13” pocketbooks and other special gifts. In 2009, EXIM Thailand received a capital injection of 5 billion baht from the Ministry of Finance to support the expansion of its export credit insurance service (EXIMSurance). At present, EXIM Thailand signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with various commercial banks to provide EXIMSurance service to boost Thai exporters’
confidence in starting or expanding their businesses in the existing or new markets while taking away exporters’ worry about non-payment risks from overseas buyers or buyer’s banks.
