SANYO will focus on small projector market expansion with 2 main models, PDG-DSU30 and PLC-XW200, to reach all consumer segments. The company has joined hand with 200 nationwide home appliance stores to increase strong points and encourage sales. SANYO is confident to have 20% annual growth when compare with last year.
Mr. Wachiraphan Deeted, Multimedia Product Manager of SANYO (Thailand) revealed that the company plan to approach more on small projector market, or mass model, in 2nd half of the year. As a leader of projector market, SANYO has more than 30 models to cover all consumers’ need. It is expected that 20% annual sales growth when compare to 2009 will be met successfully.
“Previously, our distribution channels are dealers and distributors, who expertise in projects, in order to run in the form of B2B. Now, we focus on general customers (end user) who have purchase decision and consume in a large quantity. The cooperation expands among 200 home appliance stores nationwide to become distributors for SANYO projector. This is the easier way for products to reach customers who prefer buying at shops or showrooms nearby. It is another method to encourage sales.” Mr. Wachiraphan said.
There are 2 projectors that SANYO highlights on for this campaign. Firstly, PDG-DSU30 is a DLP projector that provides brightness at 2,500 lumens and colorful image at SVGA resolution. It contains user-friendly function within portable black colored design.
