VisitBritain, Britain’s national tourist office, together with STA Travel has announced the lucky winner of a free trip to the UK from the new website www.visittheotherbritain.com. Competition entrants have to check out the website and explain what fascinates them most about the Other Britain and why by completing the sentence “When I visit the other Britain, I will definitely check out…”. With over 800 entries across South East Asia, Patchanida Phongthanasarn from Thailand gave the best answer and won a roundtrip ticket between Bangkok and Heathrow, 2 nights hotel accommodation in London, and a London Sightseeing pass, total prize valued at more than THB 80,000!
Visittheotherbritain.com is a modern website, designed especially for young people who are into alternative lifestyles in the UK. It also recommends cool tips, travel advice, places to hang out, details and blogs for you to check what’s new in the UK. Patchanida will also be a guest blogger and will expose all experienced of ‘other’ Britain during her trip.
