For Thai students to show off their IT skills through www.pil.in.th until 15 November 20 10
Microsoft Thailand has today launched this year’s ‘Microsoft IT Youth Challenge’. Now in its sixth consecutive year, the project aims to spark young people’s interest in technology as well as offer them a unique opportunity to sharpen their IT skills. The competition provides a platform for Thai primary and secondary school students to showcase their creative IT works. Applications are open from now until November 15th, 2010.
Application details for students interested in participating in the ‘Microsoft IT Youth Challenge 2011’ are as follows:
Junior primary school students (P1 - P3) should create a project using Microsoft Paint, under the theme of ‘Fairy Tales’. Senior primary school students P4 — P6 should submit a math game using Microsoft Excel, under the theme of ‘Quiz Games’. Junior high school students M1 - M3 should submit work developing during 15 July — 15 November on Windows Live Space, under the theme of ‘Amazing Work Development on Windows Live Space’.High school students (M4 - M6) — Thailand Innovative Student 2010 should submit education media by Microsoft MultiPoint that relate on content of 8 key subjects.
The preliminary selection results will be announced at www.pil.in.th on November 30th, 2010. Students who successfully reach the first-round will then have the opportunity to develop their creative ideas for the final round of the competition by January 2011.
