Intel Microelectronics (Thailand), its channel resellers and multi-national manufacturers have come together to launch ‘Intel? Core? Processors for Everyone’, a campaign that allows people nationwide more access to quality computers at an affordable price. Intel and its channel partners will conduct a series of marketing activities reaching various groups of end users starting with industrial workers. The campaign’s special offers include desktop computers based on the Intel? Core? processor with prices starting from 16,900 baht. For notebook computers, participating partners currently include Samsung, dell, Acer and Sony; each will present various activities and promotions to support the campaign and drive technology access nationwide.
“After our successful ‘My Family PC’ and ‘Community e-Center’ initiatives launched during the past five years, we are now expanding our effort to reach more people with this latest ‘Intel? Core? Processors for Everyone’ campaign,” said Accharas Ouysinprasert, Country Manager, Intel Microelectronics (Thailand) Ltd. “Our focus is not simply on the technology we produce, it’s also on making possible for more people across the country to access technology that improves the way they live, work, and learn.
“We believe that to foster innovation and drive economic growth for the nation, we need high quality education for the young people, plus strong and healthy communities. We know that it can only be achieved through our collaboration with the industry to drive change that has a lasting impact on people’s lives today, and the world in which we live tomorrow.”
The ‘Intel? Core? Processors for Everyone’ campaign has kicked off with initiatives from Intel and channel resellers conducting a series of road shows to directly demonstrate Intel Core-based desktops and notebooks at a number of industrial estates in provinces. They include Petchaboon, Lopburi, Chiang Mai, Lamphun, Korat, Khon Khaen, Ubonratchathani, Pitsanulok, and Nakorn Sri Thammarat. Intel will also educate its audience on computer usage during the road show events to promote benefits and create understanding on the influence of technology today.
Sontiya Nujeenseng, National Sales Manager, added, “In addition to Intel’s road show, we have cooperated with over 150 retailers nationwide to promote the campaign among industrial workers in their provinces. We expect to cover more than 100,000 workers by end of the year from the total of approximately six million workers nationwide. The outreach number will grow further as we reach out to more industrial locations. The computers offered under the campaign include the Intel? Core? i3 processor based desktop, among others, with prices starting from 16,900 baht. For notebook computers, there will be various special offers from all participating retailers”
