ONYX Hospitality Group, one of Thailand’s leading hotel management companies in cooperation with Department of Education Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, is organizing the “Arts for The Planet” Award Presentation Ceremony and Opening of the Exhibition showcasing selected paintings of the students from primary and secondary schools under Bangkok Metropolitan Administration who recently participating the “Arts for The Planet” painting contest on the coming September 9th, 2010. The exhibition will be open for public from 10th September till the end of the month at Mezzanine, Amari Watergate Bangkok. The paintings will also be available for sale to raise fund for ONYX’s “Baht for a Better Life” project to support education of underprivileged children in Thailand.
To celebrate the 40th anniversary of Earth Day on 22 April 2010, ONYX Hospitality Group has launched the ‘Arts for The Planet’ in April 2010. The project aims to raise awareness and engage the younger generation through arts to foster critical thinking about the world we live in and the key environmental issues. The winners will be awarded scholarships to support their education and arts.
