Habitat for Humanity Thailand and Marriott Hotels Thailand to address the issue of housing for the homelessness and to achieve this, the organization need further support. With the participant of management and associates at its 14 hotels and resorts, Marriott Hotels Thailand aims to raise the 2 million baht required to construct 10 of these homes in Pathumthani and Phuket this year. Together we can make Habitat for Humanity Thailand’s vision of “simple and safe housing for a better quality of life” a reality in the communities that need it most.
For this reason, JW Marriott Phuket Resort & Spa has recently organized charity bowling tournament “JW Marriott Bowling for Habitat 2010”, at CS Bowl, Big C Super center Phuket. Up to 35,000 THB has been earned from this competition with more than 40 teams from JW Marriott Phuket Resort & Spa, Marriott hotels in Phuket and other partners joined the Bowling for Habitat to collect fund to support the Bann Home Hug Project to help families in need. This event is one of the activities for Habitat for Humanity Thailand conducted by JW Marriott Phuket Resort & Spa since April 2010.
“Spirit to Serve Our Communities” is a key component of Marriott’s companywide commitment to helping others. We believe that with love and compassion we can return strength and hope to homeless children for their better future.
